August Update

Not quite caught on to this blog thing as this is only the second since the new site opened.

I'm busy at the moment dealing with enquiries about our up and coming AidCamps in Nepal and India. As you've probably read, the India project is a two week project taking place on 15 January to 30 January and the three-week Nepal project, originally scheduled for November this year, has been moved to early March 2011 (exact date tbc). If you're interested, or know anyone who is, then get in touch or book direct through the online application form in the Join Now section of the Group AidCamps area.

Those of you who have seen our Facebook page will know that our Chairman, Bryan recently spoke to children at a primary school in Leytonstone about what AidCamps does and what the children are like who we support. The kids and their parents responded so well that they raised around £500 from a series of sponsored activities. This is an amazing show of support and is a real credit to the school and the people in the local community.

If you fancy doing something similar just email me at

We are also looking at a new type of AidCamp which we hope will appeal to schools looking to take 15-18 year old students overseas to work on an aid project in the developing world.

If you're a parent or a teacher, or a student for that matter, who thinks your school might be interested, then get in touch via the above email address. The projects will be two weeks in duration and can be construction based just like our usual Group projects. If you'd like to try something different, just let me know. We're open to any sensible suggestions!

That's it for now.

Frankly I think that's asblotuely good stuff.
