Volunteering on a Group or Independent AidCamp

If you’ve signed up for a Group or Independent AidCamp then we’ll have set you either a minimum donation in order for you to participate in one of our Group projects, or given you a minimum fundraising target which varies with the length of your stay on an Independent placement.

Obviously, some people are fortunate enough to be in a position to simply pay the minimum donation themselves but many others, indeed the majority of our volunteers, will need to think about fundraising.

Fundraising is vitally important for AidCamps International and its partners in the developing world as not only does it raise the much-needed funds required to provide the materials for our building projects or educational and environmental support activities, it also raises awareness of the plight of the very people we are trying help.  

We have developed a Fundraising Pack in order to help you reach the target amount we’ve set you and hopefully go on to beat it!  This pack is full of useful suggestions, hints and tips on how to plan, manage and target your fundraising efforts and lists dozens of fundraising ideas that you can try regardless of where you may work or study and how large your circle of family or friends may be.
