Short Term Volunteer Work Overseas on Third World Development Aid Projects Group + Independent AidCampMaybe you'd like to combine the two: join a Group AidCamp, and then stay on afterwards as an Independent volunteer. The Group AidCamp will let you get involved in a larger development aid project, see our partner organisation's work and some of the local area in an organised and guided manner, and give you a good introduction in both the practical and cultural ways of the region for your continued stay undertaking the independent volunteer work of your choice. To apply for a combination Group plus Independent AidCamp, just send us the two applications at the same time (You only need to send one photograph). All costs, conditions, and everything else described apply to the two placements as if they were independent of each other, however we will treat the two applications as "joined". In addition, the standard lower and upper requirements (£300/£500) for the minimum donation to the Independent AidCamp are reduced.
Just send in the two applications together, with two separate registration fee cheques for the registration fees above, and we'll get back to you within a few days. If you are applying via this website and paying by credit or debit card, please apply for the Group AidCamp first and tick the Group + Independent box at the bottom of the application forms for each. The donations schedule is as for the individual AidCamps, except that the due dates for the Independent AidCamp donations are relative to whichever starts first. |
