Which AidCamps is for me

Type of project

 

You’ll work within a group of 12 - 15 people delivering a sizable local development aid project.

 

You’ll be providing much needed support and funds for a local community project. The project may well be long term, with volunteers only being present for part of it.

 

 

 

The type of work

 

You’ll be carrying out light to medium manual work.  

Everybody works together on the project.  No specific skills, experience, or big muscles are needed.

 

 

 

 

It’s your choice. We have a wide range of possibilities, from teaching to conservation as well as research trips and more. We will work to match your requirements and skills with the needs of our partner NGOs and local communities, to offer you a placement matching your desires.

How Long

 

2 – 3 week projects.

 

2 weeks to 3 months+

£500 for up to five weeks, then £50 per week for every week thereafter.

Plus for skilled placements:
Curriculum vitae (CV)
Proof of qualifications.

 

We will contact you to discuss your wishes, and then negotiate with our partner organisations to agree a placement suitable for you.


If we cannot offer you a place fitting your stated requirements within 10 days, then you are entitled to a refund.

 

Once a placement has been agreed we will ask for references, and health certification from your doctor, and may do a criminal records check.
