Your Options

Where: we can arrange placements in all of our project countries. Whether you want to work and live in a city or in a remote village is up to you, although not all possibilities are available in all countries.

When: more or less any time you choose. Of course, your choice may be affected by practical constraints (e.g. no point in going out to teach during local school holidays), or the schedules of our partner organisations.

How Long: usually 2 weeks to 3 months. If you want to go for longer, talk to us.

The Work: your choice. You let us know what you'd like to do and we'll try and match that with the needs of our local partner organisations and their communities.

There's a wide range of possibilities of both skilled and unskilled work available. The descriptions of our AidCamp countries lists some "off the shelf" possibilities that our partners have a constant need for, but it's not limited to just those.

In particular, if you have a specific skill or experience that you think might be beneficial to our partners or to local development, please ask.

As well as working directly with our partners or local communities, there are also possibilities, by special arrangement, for research trips if you want to undertake some local research or studies as part of a degree.
