Gift Aid

UK taxpayer?

If you use Gift Aid you can make your donation worth more without needing to make a bigger donation yourself!

For every £(GBP) you donate, we get an extra 25 pence from HM Revenue & Customs. It's that simple.

To qualify for Gift Aid, what you pay in income or capital gains tax must at least equal the amount that all the charities or Community Amateur Sports Clubs you donate to will claim in the tax year. Other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify.

Gift Aid amounts received from HM Revenue & Customs may be used on any project or for the running costs of the charity.

Please note, the charity will be unable to claim Gift Aid if full name, house name or number, and postcode are not provided.

UK higher rate (40% or 45%) taxpayer?

If you are a higher rate (40% or 45%) taxpayer you can lower your next tax bill by claiming back the difference between your donation grossed up at the basic rate and the higher rate you actually pay by entering it on your next self-assessment return.
